Hey guys,

Just after updating today from 2.0.1 to 2.0.2 I encountered this problem:
Connecting to my iPhone 5 works as usual, but I'm unable to send the keypresses to my device -- the characters just don't appear on my iPhone screen. Eventually they will do, but after 4-10 characters it's stuck again. Or, another variation: A single character gets transmitted permanently (e.g. "aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa") without any possibility to stop that endless input unless I quit Type2Phone.

I tried deactivating Bluetooth both on my MacBook and the iPhone, "forgetting" the device and pairing again - even reinstalling Type2Phone, but the problem persists.

Do you have any suggestions for me?
Thanks

Hi!

What version of Mac OS X are you running?
I have one report of problems on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

Please give this beta a try:

Please let me know how that works for you.

Best,
Pierre Bernard

Yeah, I'm running 10.6.8.

The provided beta works fine. Copying from Mac to iPhone still doesn't work, but it didn't in 2.0.1 or 2.0.2. either.

Thanks for the fast support!

Hi!

To copy from the Mac to the iPhone, you need to press command-shift-V

The regular shortcut command-V is sent straight to the phone were it pastes whatever was copied last on the phone.

Best,
