Clicky

Hi,
a common search that I want to do is to search on text content to include a number of search items but exclude other text content.
I start off by doing my inclusive search, but when I add a 'NONE' group, Houdahspot places the criterion before rather than after the inclusive one. This seems very counterintuitive. I understand that you can drag search criteria but I haven't been able to do that.
Can Houdahspot be made to list search criteria in the way I naturally tend to think about them e.g. I want all the files that include these items but not ones that include these ones?
Cheers

Hi!

There are a lot of ways to arrange criteria to your liking.

Indeed criteria and groups may be rearranged using drag-and-drop.

When creating a group by option-clicking the plus button at the end of a criterion row, the new group is inserted below that row.

Groups may also be created from the query menu. They will then enclose the currently selected rows.
