I am revisting HoudahGeo for the first time in a few years. My photo library has grown by leaps and bounds and now that I'm retired, I thought cleaning out and straightening my library would be a great way to pass the time.

I just installed the latest HoudahGeo 3.6.3 on my 2008 Mac Pro. My Aperture Library lives in a secondary hard drive, not the boot disk since it is a SSD and isn't large enough to contain everything.

I click on "Add Images" and navigate to the Aperture Library, but it's greyed out? I downloaded the User Manual but I can't seem to find anything that tells me what I'm doing wrong?

I'm not referencing my photos, I've actually imported them directly into the Aperture Library on Disk 3 inside my Mac Pro.

Is there something I'm stupidly overlooking? (You know the old saying - if you want to hide something from some people, just put it right in front of them)! ;-)

Your Aperture library should be listed in the sidebar of the Load step.

If it is not, please open Aperture and go to Aperture > Preferences > Previews and set Share XML to Always.
