Hi,
I recently bought a WBT-202 GPS logger but am having trouble accessing the device via bluetooth on my Macbook Pro. I set the device to pair with my laptop. However I can't seem to access the device via Houdahgeo software. Not sure what I am supposed to do.

Best,
Ram

PS: I can access the file on the device if I mount it via a USB cable.

Hi!

You need to mount the device in Mass Storage Device (MSD) mode.

Then you may access the TES log files using the "Load GPS data from file" toolbar button in HoudahGeo.

Hi Pierre,

Thanks for the reply. In that case, I can only connect via USB cable (not bt bluetooth), correct? I think you need to turn bluetooth off and connect via USB to turn on Mass Storage mode if I am reading the manual correctly.

Hi!

Indeed, a USB connection is required.

Hi Pierre,
OK. Thanks. I tried it out and I was able to get an image tagged. One other questions is how do you get the Country, city fields populated? The tagging took care of the GPS coordinates but left the country, city field etc. blank. (I had not shown those field when I ran the program for tagging..did that after the tag occurred...so not sure if that is the issue.).

Also, what is the best way to ensure the camera time syncs with the wbt-202 time. I am not sure how to check the time on the logger unit as there doesn't seem to be an interface on the Mac to connect to it and check the time or the frequency with which it logs.

Thanks again.

Hi!

You will find the "Reverse Geocoding" feature in the "Geocode" menu.

The clock on the GPS device is always accurate. It comes from the satellites. HoudahGeo only needs to know what the clock on the camera is set to.
