I am using version 2.3.3 on an iMac with Snow Leopard.  I have been using HoudahGeo for quite some time with no trouble.  However, I was tagging some files today and when I went to write the EXIF data for the files, I get a message I have never seen before.

"One or more of the images were missing. They were skipped."

I was able to save some other images earlier in the day so I have no idea what changed.

I store my photo files on an external hard disk as my master files.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi!

The message means that one or more of the image files were moved or renamed since they were added to the project. Thus HoudahGeo cannot access them anymore.

Hi Pierre,

I wish it were this simple.  Neither the file names nor the locations have changed.  Just to be sure, I closed Houdahgeo and opened a new project with the files and still got the same error message.

Any other thoughts?

Thanks,

Bob McGraw

Hi!

Are you able to see previews of the files. Maybe you lack the rights to reading one of the files.

Please check Console.app for additional messages.

It was a permission issue.  For some reason all the files were read only.  Works great now.

Thanks for the help!!!
