Hey everyone!

Just got my AMOD 3080 today and we set out to do some testing.  I had the AMOD working perfectly (flashing green, which indicates that the device is reading from the GPS) and I took three shots to begin with.  These 3 shots are showing up red in GEO, but the rest of the images I took today were tagged perfectly fine ( I verified their locations on the map ).  Any ideas why the first 3 wouldn't show?

My 5D Mark II clock is set exactly to the GPS clock, and based on the other images, I dont' think it has anything to do with my clock.  Even though the AMOD 3080 device was on and flashing green, it looks like it may not have recorded data for those first 3 images?

Any help here would be awesome!  Thanks

Hi!

GPS devices may need a couple of minutes to get a fix.

Factory new devices or devices that have been moved a long distance from their last known location may take 20-30 minutes to get a fix. I believe that is what happened here.

Thanks so much Pierre.  I assume this is the case even if the device is showing that its 'connected'?

Hi!

I can't tell as I have never seen an AMOD device.

If you check the Track Inspector window in HoudahGeo, you will see the time span covered by the imported track log.

Best,
