Up to now, I have ignored the 'Folders' pane. I did a quick search of the manual for 'folders' and saw no documentation regarding this pane. That said, how can I customize this pane? Let me clarify, how can I remove the default set and remove any folders that I have added. I would also like to custom sort the order, if possible, via drag and drop. I do not use the default set provided.

Hi!

You can drag folders from the Finder to the media browser in order to add them to the list.

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately, I don't think my questions have been answered. I am familiar with how to add folders.

My questions:

1.

How can I remove any of the default set of folders (Pictures, iChat icons, etc.)?

2.

How can I remove any folders that I have added?

3.

Is it possible to sort the folders in a user-specified order via drag-and-drop?

Hi!

Sorry, I misunderstood your initial question.

You can remove folders you have added by control-clicking / right-clicking and selecting Remove from the contextual menu.

You cannot remove the default set of folders. I actually have to investigate why that is. If possible, that restriction will be removed.

I believe the folders are supposed to be listed alphabetically. Again I will have the check the source code to see why that is.

Regarding the point about the folder sort order. Alphabetical sorting on the folder is good, however, it would be nice if I can reorganize folders in my own custom order by drag/drop or some other method.
