System is an iMac running OS X v 10.6.4
HoudahGeo v2.6.3 (3179)
GPS Unit is a QStarz MkII

Things have changed since I last used HoudahGeo. SO I have a few questions...
  1. When I plug in my GPS via USB, the system wants to set it up as a network device. Is it necessary to do this for HoudahGeo?
  2. I used to use a USB driver to inteface with HoudahGeo. I assume it's still there, but can't tell for sure. Is it necessary anymore (see 1 above).
  3. Is there a step-by-step guide that might help?

Hi!

Nothing has changed much.

The system is just misguided when it suggest setting up a network device. Just ignore that message.

Thanks, Pierre.

I've got it working now.
I also discovered that using a USB hub interferes with connecting to the GPS.
