The subject sums up the issue. If I type in a TextExpander abbreviation, such as "fdate", Type2Phone shows "fdat{delete}{delete}{delete}{paste}" with a final result of "v".

It can be hard to remember that the clipboard from the iPhone is NOT the clipboard from the Mac. However, it looks like TextExpander uses an alternate form of paste, otherwise it should be placing the contents of the iPhone clipboard into the field rather than just "v".

The problem is complicated by the fact that TextExpander Touch (iOS version) experiences the exact same issue. Within the Compose screen on TET, I still get a "v" when a shortcut is typed.

It would be great if Mac TextExpander snippets were supported.

With the technology choices we made, I  believe it will not be possible to add support for TextExpander snippets on the Mac.
