I know I can search for a specific file type by dragging a file of that type into HoudahSpot, but when I want to do this I often end up doing a search in Finder first to find the file type in order to drag it into HoudahSpot.

I found that I can search for 'Name' > 'ends with' and type in the extension but always forget about this when searching for an extension as it isn't too intuitive (it also shows folders as well as file types).

Any chance of a 'proper' extension attribute where we can type in the file extensions?

Hi Jono,

I just noticed that I never replied to your post. Sorry about that.

I had immediately added your suggestion to the todo / idea list.

Best,
