With HS 5.1.4... the RESULT of SEARCH appears about 10 scds... then... disappears about 3 scds... etc... again & again repetitively

Hi... Everybody,...

After performing a search in HS 5.1.4...., not always but often,… the RESULT of the SEARCH :
   - Appears during about 10 seconds ... then... disappears for about 3 seconds,.... THEN AGAIN...
   - Appears during about 10 seconds ... then... disappears for about 3 seconds,.... THEN AGAIN...
   - etc... etc... Repetitively and indefinitely

NB : Sometime,… The RESULT of the SEARCH disappear and… doesn’t appear again till
I press again on the « SEARCH BUTTON ».

So.... It's quite impossible to work with HS 5.1.4

THIS PB happens in the same way with Catalina 10.15.7 or with High Sierra10.13.6

But this problem is a NEW problem because I used HS 5.1.4 with High Sierra10.13.6 since
January 2021 (= During 4 years) without any problem.
So... I shurely can say that HS 5.1.4 is good version of HS without intrinsic bug.

NB : Curiously this problem has happened in the same time for Catalina and High Sierra . But :
              - I haven’t copie any thing from HIGHT SIERRA to CATALINA ….
              - And,… I haven’t copie any thing from CATALINA to HIGHT SIERRA

So... I shurely can say that … it’s not a VIRUS

NB : MAC OSX Catalina and High Sierra are working fine and I have not any problem with all other
        applications program.

NB : After installing HS 5.1.4 on Catalina,... I have not install any other applications

NB : Sometime the problem can be solved with delating the HS Prefrences "com.houdah.HoudahSpot4.plist"
But sometime I must repeat this delating more than about ten times before to succeed.

NB : I have tried to reboot in « Safe Mode »,... but it repairs nothing.

MANY… MANY THANKS in advance for ANY HELP....!!!....!!...

This is usually a symptom of macOS being in the process of rebuilding the index. If the problem persists, it is probably because building / fixing the index fails. Try a full Spotlight index rebuild.

When that fails, try a deep rebuild where the compressor Spotlight directory is removed using "mdutil -X" from the command line in Terminal.
