If I type a = on the mac, the iPhone types ´ . In both, iPhone and type2phone, German (germany) keyboard is selected. If I choose german (Swiss) on type2phone, the = reaches the iPhone correctly, but many other keys are wrong with this layout.

Also characters with accents (like é, á, â etc) does not work. This characters does not work in type2phone, too. (nothing is shown). If I paste text which contains those characters from the mac (cmd+shift+v) , they are shown in type2phone, but on iPhone they are skipped.

Hi!

I will look into the mapping of the "=" character.

How do you type accents on the German keyboard? Do they require the use of a dead key: first type the accent, then the letter?
That would be a feature we will be adding in the 1.2 update.

Meanwhile you could set both the iPhone and Type2Phone to use the Swiss German layout. Keep your Mac set to the German layout. This should give you the correct results.

Best,
Pierre Bernard
