Hello

I seem to get the wrong timestamp on all my raw files (nikons NEF). I always use both JPG and NEF and the jpegs are fine. The raw files get one hour later timestamp than the jpegs. Also seconds is set to 00. Why?

Also, only the copies show timestamp in Iphoto not the originals being imported in iPhoto after geotagging.

What am I doing wrong?

Kind regards
Stefan

Hi!

Please email me sample files so I can look into this. I also need to know the camera time zone setting.

I don't quite understand the problem you are having with iPhoto. Could you provide more details?

Have you tried the HoudahGeo 2.3 betas over at macdeveloper.net? iPhoto integration has been rewritten to comply with Apple's wishes.

Best,
Pierre Bernard

The modified orignals does not show any geotags (I wrote timestamp, sorry) when I import them in iphoto. The copies from the HoudahGeo folder on the other hand does. How do I make the originals work. I don´t want to save directly to my iphoto library, i want to modify the originals on my mac before I import them into iPhoto.

I cant send the NEF-files since they are larger than 2 mb. Do you have an email I can use?

/Stefan

Hi!

I think the issue is that you asked HoudahGeo to "Create copies" during the EXIF/XMP export process.

You can email me at pierre[dot]bernard[at]houdah[dot]com
